PDP says Ambode’s only achievement is fighting Fashola

10 September 2015, 13:01

Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has scored Gov Akinwunmi Ambode low in his 100 days in office, reports Punch.

The party said  Ambode’s only achievement in the last 100 days is fighting his predecessor, Babatunde Fashola.

The party said Ambode was attacking Fashola so as to distract the people of Lagos from seeing his own deficiencies.

The Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, made the party’s position known on Wednesday while appraising Ambode’s first 100 days in office.

He said rather than rubbish Fashola in the media, Ambode should launch a sincere and thorough probe of the Fashola administration with a view to exposing all shady deals that took place under Fashola and then forward a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
