The PDP senators during their meeting agreed to push for the implementation of report of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, which has recommended a stay of action on Amaechi’s screening.

PDP senators are insisting that the report of the committee should not be discarded but should serve as the basis for the suspension of the screening of the former governor in accordance with Order 53(5) of the Senate Standing Orders.
