Abuja - Apparently displeased with the conduct of the Peoples Democratic Party delegates’ election across the country, senators elected under the platform of the party on Tuesday have threatened to shut down the government of President Goodluck Jonathan, reports Daily Post.
Their grouse with the President is that he had allowed the state governors to take over the structures of the party in their states.

They also threatened to work with their colleagues in the All Progressives Congress (APC) to impeach President Jonathan.
The senators, who took these decisions during a meeting of the PDP caucus in the National Assembly, had angrily adjourned plenary barely after it started.
