Abuja - A fresh crisis in brewing in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Vanguard.
Thirty-six state chairmen of the party and that of the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) have given the party's National Working Committee (NWC) a 14-day ultimatum to summon a meeting of the party's National Executive Committee (NEC).
They want the NWC to convene the NEC meeting to address burning issues in the party.

Rising from a three-hour closed door meeting with members of the NWC, the state chairmen who are also members of NEC told the leadership of the party that the NEC meeting has become imperative and must hold now to strengthen and reposition the party.
The last NEC meeting of the party was held weeks before the March 28 presidential election.
