PDP’s Acting National Chairman, Uche Secondus announced this on Tuesday in Abuja while playing host to members of PDP Rebirth Group at party’s headquarters.
He stated that the biometric registration exercise was one of the key recommendations of the Ike Ekweremadu-led post-election assessment committee that was approved for implementation by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) last Thursday.
He noted that the party leadership was impressed with the exercise in Edo State, which was used as a pilot project.
He said that with the biometric registration, members of the party at the grassroots would take over ownership of the party.
