PDP vows to win Kogi, Bayelsa governorship polls

Abuja - The Peoples Democracy Party (PDP) on Tuesday boosted that it will win the upcoming governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa States, reports The Nation.

The party noted that the two states are traditionally PDP states.and no amount of propaganda or intimidation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) will take the states away from it.

Acting National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus stated this at the presentation of certificate of return to Governors Idris Wada and Seriaka Dickson of Kogi and Bayelsa States respectively .

He pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari not to succumb to the temptation of abusing national institutions during the November and December governorship elections in the two states.

He called on security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to play by the rules of the game and assured that PDP‎ would conduct decent campaigns and would win the two governorship elections.
