Lafia -  No fewer than four persons have been killed and several others wounded in a political clash between supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Daddere town in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The clash occurred following the conflict between those supporting the state lawmaker, Sidi Bako, who is from the area and that of the state Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, reports Leadership.

Trouble started when supporters of Bako were celebrating his return to the town after all the lawmakers relocated to Abuja during the peak of the impeachment saga against the governor.

The celebration did not go down well with the supporters of the governor, who also took to the streets to register their disappointment with Bako for signing the impeachment notice against  the governor.

The situation later degenerated into a clash between the two groups, which led to the death of four persons, while several others sustained serious injuries.
