Plot to stop Dickson in 2016 thickens

Yenagoa - Top members of various political groups opposed to the second term bid of Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, have met in Yenagoa to fashion out strategies on how to unseat the governor in the forthcoming election, reports Leadership.

The meeting was convened and hosted by the former deputy governor of the State and the state coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), Werinipre Seibarugu.

The meeting was presided over by the former security adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Andrew Oputa.

Also present at the meeting were Senator Nimi Barigha-Amange, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Nestor Binabo, Marie Ebikake and Dr. Amalayon Yuosuor.

The meeting deliberated on the governorship election in the state in 2016 and the need for anti-Dickson forces to unite and present a formidable front against Dickson's second term bid.
