Port Harcourt - Policemen on Wednesday fired tear gas at protesting All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates from the last general elections, reports NewsDay.
The APC candidates were marching to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Port Harcourt.
They were protesting to express their grievances over the way INEC has been handling their petitions at the election tribunals.

Among the protesters were the party’s governorship candidate in the elections, Dakuku Peterside, Senator Magnus Abe, Andrew Uchendu, Tony Okocha and many others .
Abe expressed his displeasure with the way the police treated them , noting that they were teargassed under Former President Goodluck Jonathan and now they are being teargassed again under President Muhammadu Buhari.
