Abuja - The seven rebel governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), popularly called the G7, have sent their conditions for peace to the presidency.
Vanguard said sources close to the group said that the G7 responded to the olive branch that has been presented by President Goodluck Jonathan.
One of the conditions that the governors listed is the lifting of the suspension of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of River State from the PDP and the recognition of Amechi as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
Another condition giving by the G7 is to allow Olagunsoye Oyinlola to resume his position as the National Secretary of the party as decided by the Appeal Court judgment.
