Lagos - President Goodluck Jonathan will on Monday evening hold a Presidential Media Chat when he is scheduled to engage the press on prevailing issues.
His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, confirmed the event would be held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja at 7pm local time.
Jonathan is expected to respond to questions from a panel of journalists and media executives on current national issues and developments.
Abati said in a statement the chat would be broadcast live on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and the Voice of Nigeria (VON).
“Citizen are enjoined send question or call in during the chat as the President will also respondent to direct questions from viewers,” stated Abati.
Among the key features that are likely to feature are the Boko Haram terror problems, preparations for next year’s general election and most recently, the suspension of the central bank governor.
