Reason why Buhari has refused to meet Saraki revealed

Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have refused to meet one-on-one with Senator Bukola Saraki two weeks after Saraki emerged as Senate President, reports Sahara Reporters.

Saraki had tried several times to meet privately with Buari but all attempts have been rebuffed by the President.

Although, Buhari has publicly accepted Saraki’s emergence as the Senate President, the President is not happy that Saraki connived with top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win the post .

Buhari is reportedly not satisfied with the reasons given by Saraki to win the Senate presidency..

Saraki is seen by Buhari has somebody who may hinder his administration’s fight against corruption.

Saraki, troubled by Buhari’s refusal to meet with him, reached out to former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday to broker a truce with the President.
