Some PDP chieftains in the state have vowed to frustrate such move, reports The Sun.
Ribadu’s defection to the PDP enjoys the the support of the Presidency, who wants to use the move to dismantle the APC structures in the state.
Ribadu, the candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the 2011 presidential election, and currently a stalwart of APC, is expected to defect to PDP this week.
The party leaders have also resolved not to allow any candidate who recently moved from All Progressives Congress (APC) to the party to pick the PDP ticket in the forthcoming Adamawa State governorship election.
