Abuja - Members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday granted the much needed waiver to boost the governorship ambition of former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu.
With the waiver, Ribadu is now eligible to face the screening panel that would scrutinize all the candidates seeking to flag the party’s flag in the October 11 governorship election in Adamawa State, reports Premium Time.

Olisa Metuh, PDP spokesperson, who disclosed this in Abuja, said the party also granted waivers to Buba Marwa and Marcus Gundiri.
The three candidates alongside eight other candidates are expected to face the screening panel on Saturday.
