Port Harcourt - The crisis rocking the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took a new dimension on Tuesday has some members of the party have called for the dissolution of State Executive, reports Daily Post.
The aggrieved members, under the aegis Concerned Stakeholders of PDP members in Rivers State, described the state executive as it is presently constituted as a two-man docile working Committee led by Felix Obuah and the Secretary Ibiba Walter.
Professor Israel Owate, spokesperson for the group , said the executive was working for the governorship ambition of the Minister of State for Education, Nyesome Wike
The group wants the National Working Committee to conduct fresh registration of the PDP members in the state and to produce authentic Party members before the party's governorship primaries.
