Abuja - Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reportedly sought truce with angered senators of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports NewsDay.
This follows Thursday’s walkout by PDP senators over the confirmation of former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, as a minister.
Saraki it was learnt would not allow the issue affects the relationship between him and the PDP senators.

The PDP senators were instrumental to the emergence of Saraki as the Senate President.
Saraki was said to have told the PDP senators that party loyalty was responsible for his action on the floor of the Senate on Thursday.
Saraki is expected to compensate the PDP senators in the distribution of the Chairmanship of Senate standing committees, which he is set to announce in the first week of November.
