Abuja - Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Wednesday administered oath of office and allegiance on his main challenger for the Senate Presidency seat, Ahmed Lawan and 27 other All Progressives Congress (APC) senators who were absent at the formal inauguration of the 8th Senate on Tuesday, reports Vanguard.
The APC senators were absent when Saraki was elected as Senate President.

The APC senators were gathered at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari, who was billed to address them.
Saraki had on Tuesday immediately after he was elected as Senate President, administered oath of office and allegiance on 75 other senators present.
