Osogbo - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun has said that the suspension of its secretary would not affect its fortune in the August 9 governorship election.
This is contained in a statement issued by Bola Ajao, Publicity Secretary of the party.
"The party has a standing committee that will look into the various allegations levelled against the suspended secretary,’’ the statement said.
It added that the party in the state was still united and was not in any crisis, and urged all aspirants not to be distracted but to remain focused, adding that the party would give its three governorship aspirants a level playing ground.
The party had on Monday suspended its secretary, Major Raphael Towobola (rtd.), over allegation of anti-party activities.
