Abuja - The Senate President, David Mark, has commended Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok, representing Plateau North Senatorial Zone, for empowering his constituents with items worth over N150 million.
Mark stated this in Jos, the Plateau State capital during constituency empowerment and Development Programme of Pwajok to mark the legislator's two years in office held at the Polo Ground.
He commended Pwajok for providing good governance for his people.
The Senate President also presented a fourteen seater Bus donated by Senator Pwajok to Plateau North People's Democratic Party office.Also Read:Mark denies imposing governorship candidate on Oyo PDP
He said the lawmaker had demonstrated being a true representative of his Constituents through the empowering Programme.
“It is not how long a senator spend in a senate, but it is the amount of impact you made by virtue of your contribution and for those of you who watch our proceedings will agree with me that Senator Pwajok has contributed immensely and very positively and robustly in manner you think he has been in the senate for so long," Mark said.
“Today senator Pwajok has become a distinguish senator Federal Republic of Nigeria and he has lived up to that expectation for being a distinguished son of Plateau State."
"When he invited me to come for this empowerment programme I didn't hesitate at all because I knew he was going to do Plateau very proud and I am happy with what I have seen here today."
He promised to support Pwajok when he is going to kick off campaign for any elective position in the state and called on other politicians to emulate the legislator.
