Abuja - The election of principal officers in the Senate scheduled to hold on Tuesday did not hold after all, reports National Mirror.
The election of the officers was not listed among the issues to be discussed at Tuesday’s sitting.
Senators of the All progressives Congress (APC) are sharply divided over those that should occupy the various positions that are available.

The positions are Majority Leader, Deputy Majority Leader, Chief Whip and Deputy Chief Whip.
A meeting called by the party's Chairman, John Oyegun on Monday to resolve the thorny issue of electing the principal officers ended in a deadlock.
