On Tuesday, reports were rife that the senators, who are believed to be loyal to Ahmed Lawan haves withdrew the suit.
The senators, in a statement by their counsel, Mamman Mike Osuman (SAN) describe the report of the withdrawal of the case as erroneous and mischievous
He stated that it was the first suit filed by Senator Anthony Adeniyi, who was in the 7th Senate, that was withdrawn to avoid abuse of court process.
Osuman insisted that the prayers sought in the originating summons still persist; which is that the elections which brought Saraki and Ekweremadu are illegal, irregular and non-sustainable.
