Abuja - The Senate on Tuesday passed a vote of confidence on the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, reports The Cable.
The vote of confidence was passed by eighty- three out of the 109 members of the Senate.
Senator David Umaru from Niger State moved the motion to pass the vote of confidence on Saraki.

The motion was supported by Senator Sani Ahmad Yerima from Zamfara State.
When Saraki put the motion to a voice vote, the 'ayes' carried the day.
Kabiru Marafa from Zamfara State was the lone voice that shouted 'nay'
