Abuja - Senators who are seeking to remove the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu from office on the premise that the Senate Standing Orders 2015, that produced them, was forged have backed out from the plot, reports Vanguard.
At the resumed hearing of the case on Monday, the five senators told the court that they are no longer interested in the case.

The senators said their decision to discontinue further hearing on the matter was in view of the fact that the essence of the suit had been overtaken by events.
The senators are Abu Ibrahim, Kabir Marafa, Ajayi Boroffice, Olugbenga Ashafa and Suleiman Hunkuni
Following their application to withdraw the case, Justice Ademola Adeniyi of the Federal High Court in a short ruling struck out the suit.
