Ado Ekiti - Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adewale Omirin, has debunked insinuations that he is scheming to become the acting governor of the state, reports Leadership.
Omirin, who was reacting to claims by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that he is working clandestinely with Governor Kayode Fayemi towards ensuring that the governor-elect, Ayodele Fayose is not swornin, said he is never desperate to become the acting governor.

He denied planning to stall the the swearing-in of Fayose as the governor of the state under any guise
He noted that the false allegation has confirmed that the PDP is jittery over what the outcome of the case before the election tribunal would be.
