Kaduna - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has kicked against calls for the postponement of the 2015 general elections, reports Thisday.
He said there was no reason whatsoever to justify the postponement of the elections.
Tambuwal, who spoke in Kaduna on Sunday after he was screened and issued a certificate of clearance by the All Progressives Congress screening committee, noted that elections were being held in war-torn countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and wondered why the reverse would be the case in Nigeria.
