Tambuwal to disclose his presidential ambition soon

Sokoto - Speaker of the Federal House of Representative, Aminu Tambuwal  has said he would make his position on calls on him to contest the 2015 presidency known very soon.

He said he is still consulting with his primary constituency on whether to contest the Presidency in 2015 or the governorship position in Sokoto State, reports The Sun.

Speaking after collecting his permanent voter’s card at JNI Primary School polling unit in Tambuwal, Sokoto State, Tambuwal, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also declared that he was yet to make up his mind on whether to defect to the All Progres¬sives Congress (APC) or remain in the PDP.

He said he would make the outcome of his decision public at the right time.

Many political associations and groups have been calling on Tambuwal to contest the 2015 presidential election.

Also posters bearing the inscription of Tambuwal for 2015” appeared in some northern states recently though the  Speaker disassociated himself from them.
