Jalingo - Josiah Sabo Kente, the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly has resigned, reports Thisday.
Kente, a loyalist of the sacked acting governor, Garba Umar, said his resignation was a personal decision.
His resignation sources say was to avoid any confrontation with the new acting Governor, Sani Danladi.

Kente emerged as the Speaker of the House in November 2013 following the death of his predecessor, Haruna Tsokwa,
