Abuja - There is palpable tension within the ranks of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the delayed in the constitution of a new Federal Executive Council (FEC), reports National Mirror.
The party leaders are worried that the continued silence of President Muhammadu Buhari over the composition of the new cabinet is creating unnecessary tension in the party.
The leaders are uncomfortable with the lack of communication with the President over the ministerial list and other top appointments in the administration.

Leaders of the party have scheduled a meeting with President Buhari on the need to expedite action and achieve a harmonious selection of the new cabinet members.
The meeting, which will hold after the return of the President from the Africa Union (AU), meeting in South Africa, will centre on the need to streamline the party’s position on the new cabinet.
