Lokoja - Thousands of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Kogi State have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports NewsDay.
The defectors were led by the former House of Assembly Majority Leader Yakubu Yunusa.

APC’s governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu, who received them into the party’s fold promised them equal treatment and opportunity in the party.
He urged them to work for the party’s victory in the November 21 governorship election.
He said the defection of the former PDP members meant that the party is dead in the state.
