Tinubu, APC leaders boycott Fashola’s book presentation

Lagos - Leaders of the All Progressives Congress on Tuesday boycotted the presentation of three books written in honour of the immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, reports NewsDay.

Aside the APC leaders, most of the members of the former governor’s cabinet, including his two former deputy governors and members of the State Executive Committee of the APC also shunned the event that was held in Lagos.

The books were written by Fashola’s media aide, Hakeem Bello and Dapo Adeniyi.to showcase Fashola’s achievements as governor of Lagos State.

The national leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, sent Prof. Tunde Samuel to represent him at the event.

The failure of prominent members and leaders of APC to attend the event may have further exposed the alleged bad blood between Fashola and his estranged godfather, Tinubu.
