Abuja - National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has met with a group of senators from the camp that opposed the election of Bukola Saraki as Senate President, reports NewsDay.
The meeting, which took place at Tinubu’s Asokoro residence in Abuja, was held on Wednesday night and behind closed- doors.
About 30 senators attended the meeting, which lasted for several hours.

The 30 senators are members of the Senate Unity Forum that backed Senator Ahmed Lawan for Senate President.
Members of the Senate Unity Forum had reportedly started wooing senators loyal to Saraki with a view to changing the leadership of the Senate.
