Ibadan - The Oyo State election petition tribunal on Tuesday dismissed the prayer of the Accord Party governorship candidate, Senator Rasidi Ladoja against Governor Abiola Ajimobi, seeking a leave to call a forensic analyst to testify before the tribunal., reports Tribune.
The tribunal dismissed the application on the ground that the application was not brought during the pre-hearing session and no ex parte order was sought.

The Chairman of tribunal, Justice Muhammed Aliyu Mayaki in his ruling on the application, said the application contradicted the provision of paragraph 47 (1) of the First Schedule of the Electoral Act 2010.
He described the application as an abuse of the court process.
Ladoja is challenging the declaration of Gov. Ajimobi of All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the April 11 governorship election in Oyo State.
