Abuja - The United States of America has agreed to deploy teams of election security experts as part of its own contribution toward the success of the 2015 general election in Nigeria, reports ThisDay.

The deployment of the security experts formed part of a joint joint communique issued at the end of the third session of the Regional Security Working Group meeting, Nigeria-US Bi-National Commission, in Abuja on Thursday.
It reassured the Nigerian government of its support towards a free free, fair and peaceful 2015 elections.
It said its support for the 2015 elections is hinged on its strong belief that a free, fair and credible election is the cornerstone of democracy.
