Lokoja - Ahead of Wednesday’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi State governorship primary, one of the aspirants, Jibril Isah Echocho has accused Governor Idris Wada of planning to disrupt the exercise, reports The Nation.
Echocho alleged that the governor has mobilized his sympathisers to disrupt the primary.

Echocho through his campaign organisation, Jibrin Isah Campaign Organisation (JICO), alleged that Wada has recruited youths to attack supporters of Echocho on the day of the exercise.
JICO’s director-general, Fenti Dada described the plot as despicable and a sign that Wada does not have the interest of the state as well as the party at heart.
The governor has, however, denied the accusation.
Wada’s Media Adviser, Jaboc Edi described the allegation as diversionary.
