Abuja - When we asked Nigerians on our Facebook page what they would ask President Goodluck Jonathan if they had the opportunity, we received some very insightful responses.
Some of our readers responded with calculated, burning questions.
Ekene Achunine said he would ask Jonathan “Why he has allowed NNPC to run a parallel govt, why he allowed d governors of those states under emergency rule to stay in office till now when they are a part of d problem ,why d refineries are still not working $ why d high unemployment level in d country?”
Others, like Chijindu Ngwaba, responded promptly and succinctly: “Oga, when will you resign?”
Emmy Crown echoed those sentiments: “I will ask him to resign from office, bcos nigerian are suffering. No food, no good road, no school, no no, etc.”
But it was not all negativity. Ayuba Samaila said, “I'll congratuled him for suspending sanusi and for winning 2015 election in advance.”
Euphemia Oguinye said she wanted Jonathan “To hold d mantle of leadership till 2030 joor.”
Some ambitious and patriotic Nigerians even wanted to reach out to President Jonathan in the hope of lending a hand in improving conditions in the country.
Jide Adeyeme said he would ask Jonathan “to just give me a place in his government.”
“I'll ask 4 his seat,” Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Sunday said.
“I wnt 2 make nigerians proud of their country. Presently, am not proud 2 b a nigerian. There is nothing 2 b proud of....., no job, school fees high, medical bill high, 2much inflation, poor people dying everyday(tell me how many richmen died 4rm bokoharam blast?). Everything is wrong in nigeria!!”
