Port Harcourt - Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have rejected the ruling of the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal, which granted the All Progressives Congress (APC) leave to inspect the election materials used for the April 11 governorship election in the state, reports Thisday.
Wike and the PDP vowed to challenge the tribunal's ruling.
Speaking through one of their lawyers, Godwin Obla, Wike and the PDP said the order was made without jurisdiction and could therefore not stand.

The tribunal has refused to grant Wike’s application to reverse the order its earlier gave to the APC to inspect materials used for the election.
The tribunal refused Wike's application on the grounds that it lacked merit.
