Abuja - A member of the election petition tribunal hearing the petition seeking to annul the election victory of Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State, Justice Audu Bako has passed away, reports NewsDay.
Justice Bako died on Wednesday at Primus Hospital, Karu, a suburb in Abuja, after a brief illness.

Before he was transferred to serve in the Yobe Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, Justice Bako was a judge in the Nasarawa State High Court.
He has since been buried in his home town, Nasarawa, Nasarawa State, according to Islamic rites.
