Youth groups threaten to recall senators over N/A crisis

Kano - A coalition of youth groups from the North-west zone has threatened to recall senators from the region if they fail to respect party supremacy and resolve the crisis rocking the National Assembly., reports Daily Trust.

The group, under the auspices of Grassroots Mobilisation for Buhari (GMB) described the alleged act of indiscipline displayed by some senators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as embarrassing,

The zonal chairman of the group, Rufa’i Mukhtar Danmaje stated this when members of the coalition visited the state chairman of the APC, Umar Haruna Doguwa, in his office.

Danmaje noted that most of the senators were working to sabotage the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Danmaje urged  the party leadership to abolish the use of delegates in choosing party candidates for election, noting that the method has led to the emergence of wrong candidates through the power of money politics.
