Ilorin - Hundreds of youths suspected to be members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday disrupted a meeting of elders of the party in Kwara South senatorial district.
The meeting was convened by the elders to strategise for the second term ambition of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed., reports Vanguard.
The meeting, which was attended by party stalwarts from the zone, had hardly begun when the hall was thrown into chaos by angry youths who came armed with charms, broken bottles, knives, cutlasses and clubs.
The youth say they are unhappy with the decision of the elders to support the second term bid of the governor.
Shocked with the actions of the youths, the elders dispersed from the meeting in different directions with many of them sustaining injuries in their bid to escape.
