Lagos – The Concerned Niger Delta Youths
Initiative has commended the strides made by governors in the Niger Delta since
taking their oaths in May.
Ebis Orubebe, President of the organisation, said the
governors had defied financial challenges during their tenures thus far.
“It is a remarkable take-off considering that most of
their counterparts in other parts of the country have remained cap-in-hand
waiting for bail-outs from the federal government before they could commence
governance in their various states,” said Orubebe.
