Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has allegedly sent out a call for the return of former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman Nuhu Ribadu to return to the party fold.
According to a Naij report, the Adamawa State chapter of the organization has claimed that Ribadu, now a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), should "return home" where he allegedly "belongs".
Ribadu, who was one of the founders of the APC, defected from the party shortly before the 2015 general elections, stating that he was deeply disappointed with the leadership of the ruling party in their failure to assist ex-Governor Murtala Nyako in his impeachment.

APC's Acting Secretary in Adamawa State, Saidu Naira, has since expressed home in the Ribadu, claiming that his track record and progressive nature are some of the reasons why he should return to the APC.
"We reaffirm our request for you to come home to APC and assist and contribute to the success of the APC government both at state and national level," a letter issued to Ribadu read in part.
Ribadu has yet to give his commentary on the incident.
