Jalingo - The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba State, Senator Aisha Alhassan, has disassociated herself from a purported ‘video clip where she boasted that she would influence the outcome of her appeal at the Supreme Court, reports Punch.

Alhassan also known as Mama Taraba, denied any attempt, either by herself or aides to influence the outcome of the apex court’s judgment in her favour.

Alhassan, who is also the Minister of Women Affairs, accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being behind the video.

She noted that the PDP was confused, desperate and trying to whip up sentiment to curry the sympathy of the judiciary.

She said if she had the influence as alleged by the PDP, she would have swung the judgment of the Appeal Court in her favour.
