Yenagoa - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of beating the war drum over the Bayelsa State governorship supplementary election in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, reports The Nation.
The election is scheduled for Saturday.
The APC said it was aware of the PDP plot to intimidate eligible voters, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and security operatives deployed to ensure peaceful, free and credible rerun election.

The party in a statement by its National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni, said security agencies must be on high alert over the dangerous threats by the PDP to cause a breakdown of law and order in the state on Saturday.
The party urged eligible voters in the area to come out en masse and vote for its candidate.
