APC blasts PDP governors over Bayelsa election

Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the PDP Governors’ Forum allegations that it planned to clone the Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and use fake security uniforms in order to win the coming Saturday’s governorship election in Bayelsa State, reports Daily Trust

The party said it was too responsible to rig any election in Nigeria. 

The party was reacting to claims by the PDP governors that the APC has brought in Indians to effect the cloning of PVCs’ in order to rig the election.

Acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Timi Frank, said the party will win the Bayelsa election based on its popularity and not by rigging.

He noted that the PDP governors were only raising false alarm because that was what they were doing when the PDP was in government.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari would never allow the militarization of the poll because he is a lover of democracy and a democrat.
