Yenagoa - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for the cancellation of the governorship election results in two local government areas of Bayelsa State, reports Thisday.
The local governments are Sagbama and Ekeremor.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in these council areas in Saturday’s election.

The PDP won in Sagbama with 28 934 as against APC’s 5 382.
In Ekeremor, the PDP had 7 619 while the APC got 6 896.
But, the APC has rejected the results, saying the elections in these two areas were marred by widespread corruption and irregularities.
The APC in a statement by Nathan Egba, Director, Media & Publicity, Sylva-Igiri Campaign organization, said political thugs belonging to the PDP carted away sensitive election materials to manipulate in favour of PDP and returned for collation.
