APC calls for disqualification of Dickson over alleged breach of electoral laws

Yenagoa - In a rather bizarre twist to the Bayelsa State governorship election narrative, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for the disqualification of Governor Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the governorship race, reports Daily Post.

The party accused Dickson of breaching electoral laws.

The party’s said Dickson’s conduct and comments during and after the election constituted a breach of laid down laws guiding the conduct of elections in Nigeria.

The party in a statement by its governorship campaign organisation in the state, listed the various actions of Gov Dickson that constitute a breach of the electoral laws.

The party accused Dickson of storming the Yenagoa LGA Collation Centre on Saturday night after the election.

The party also accused the governor of inciting the people of Bayelsa against the federal government.
