APC chieftains throw punches in Atiku’s house

09 February 2016, 14:09

Yola - Two chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State engaged each other in a show of shame at the residence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday, reports Vanguard.

The two APC leaders turned Atiku’s house into a boxing ring as they engaged themselves in a fisticuff.

The two leaders involved in the scuffle were Abdurrahman Abba, the Chief of Staff to Governor Bindow Jibrilla and Salihu Ahmed, the Chairman of the Yola North Local Government chapter of the party in the state.

The scuffle ensued during a meeting of party leaders at the residence of Atiku in Yola.

Trouble started midway into the meeting during an argument between Abba and Ahmed.

Both men stood up and exchanged punches.

It took the intervention of other party leaders present at  the meeting and security operatives before normalcy was restored.

Soon after the face off,  Ahmed announced the suspension of Abba from the Yola North chapter of the party for indiscipline.
