Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured Nigerians that it will not renege on its campaign promise to pay N5 000 each month to jobless youths in the country, reports Daily Post.
The party was reacting to comments credited to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), calling on Nigerians not to expect the APC-led government to fulfill its campaign promises.

The APC in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, urged Nigerians to ignore the mischievous attempt by the PDP to confuse and mislead them on this issue.
He noted that even though the PDP-led federal government plundered the common wealth in its time, the APC had devised creative means not only to pay the money but also to fulfill its other campaign promises to Nigerians.
He said the non-implementation of the payment policy so far is due to the fact that the Buhari administration is been busy putting into place measures that will make it possible to start the implementation.
