Aina who is from Moba Local Government was expelled for allegedly working for a certain governorship aspirant from Omuo Ekiti, Ekiti East Local Government while Ojo was suspected to be working for the former governorship aspirant of the Labour Party (LP), Opeyemi Bamidele.

The party's action came barely 24 hours after an Ekiti State High Court, sitting in Ijero, issued an arrest warrant against the party's state Chairman,Jide Awe.

Awe according to News 24 is wanted in connection with his involvement in a murder case.

Though the suspension of Ojo and expulsion of Aina are being kept away from the press to avoid the crisis in the party from being known by the public, a top leader of the party said all was not well among the party leaders.
