APC faults PDP’s claim on anti-corruption war

15 December 2015, 12:56

Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday faulted the People's Democratic Party (PDP) over accusation that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration’s anti-corruption war is selective, reports Daily Trust.

The party noted that the PDP was not comfortable with the ongoing probe of some of its stalwarts who were being investigated for looting the treasury with impunity.

The APC in a statement by its National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni, said the PDP must realize that the day of reckoning had come as there was no more hiding place for corrupt elements which it harboured in large numbers.

The party said instead of finding faults with the anti-corruption agenda, the PDP should prevail on some of its high-ranking members, who were under investigation, to cooperate with relevant agencies.

The party urged the PDP to join the change train in the overall interest of Nigeria.
